- Masnegios is described with the feminine ⲏ ⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ but in the text the masculine pronoun ⲁⲩⲧⲟⲩ is used. Junker 1925a believed that ⲏ ⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ had been mistakenly copied by the redactor from another stela from Arminna, that of Christophoria (DBMNT 460) and thus assumed Masnegios to be a male name. He even suggested that this was a misspelling from Magnesios, but such a name has not been attested so far.
