A. Łajtar (pers. comm.) suggests that the phrase ⲧⲟⲕⲛⲛⲁⲩⲉ ⸌ⲧ⸍ⲟ translated by Browne as 'the son of Tokinnaue' may be in fact an epithet of the bishop Iesou, who is the addresse of the letter, meaning 'the son of peace'.
