Gender not specified.
It is uncertain whether ⲡⲁⲡⲁⲥⲛ̄ designates here the proper name Papasi (thus Browne) or the office 'bishop'. The latter meaning seems a little more proable here on the account of the occurrence of the same word in the previous entry, where we find, most proably, one Medjou, 'meske' of the bishop (Ref 701229). If such an assumption is probable, Eionngoka would be another woman fathered by a bishop in Nubia; the other ones being Papsine a.k.a. Doulista (Refs 701308 & 702792) and Iesousiko (Ref 703138).
